LOCATION AND GRID REFERENCE

2 miles east of Rhayader

Directions: A44 east bound from Rhayader town centre (Clock tower) just out of town turn left on unclassified road towards Abbey Cwmhir. We have a brown sign here marked Beili Neuadd. After about 1½ miles turn left at 2nd Brown sign Beili Neuadd is the 2nd property you come to.

DESCRIPTION

Beili Barn is a recently converted 16th century stone barn, beautifully positioned in quiet secluded countryside with delightful views, its own stream, trout pools and woodland. It makes the ideal location for exploring the magnificent Elan Valley, Upper Wye and Cambrian Mountains. The accommodation consists of 3 rooms sleeping 6, 6 & 4 each has en-suite power shower facilities with plenty of hot water. The kitchen dinner provides space for everyone and there is an additional more relaxed seating area on the first floor. The farmhouse offers extra accommodation for up to 6 at either a B&B rate or bed only.

HEATING / COOKING FACILITIES

The well equipped kitchen has microwave, fridge, double sink and cooker.
All rooms are centrally heated.
There is also a drying room for all your wet gear

Beili Barn makes the ideal location with the local area offering:

Walking: The Cambrian Mountains and Elan Valley make for a stunning background to enjoy an easy or challenging walk. The national trail Glyndwr’s Way, long distance foot path Wye Valley Walk and The Monk’s Trod are all nearby

Mountain Biking: Rhayader is surrounded by open hills with some of the best mountain biking to be had in Britain.

Bird Watching: See Red Kites soaring above and below, Visit the Elan Valley “The Lakeland of Wales” for a stunning background whilst watching for the many birds of prey, or for a closer look Gigrin farm is one of the national Red Kite Feeding centres

Fishing: Wales has always been one of Britain's premier fishing areas and Rhayader is the jewel in the crown. You have found an angling paradise.

Golf: Llandrindod Wells, Builth Wells and Llanidloes are all within an easy 30 min drive.

Towns: The market town of Rhayader has Pubs, Shops, Beauty Salon, Restaurants, Takeaways and a Leisure Centre to sample with the larger towns of Llandrindod Wells & Builth Wells an easy drive.
