| The rich and
varied landscape of the Brecon Beacons National Park area of Wales is
perfect pony trekking and horse riding country and you do not have to be an
expert to enjoy the exhilaration that horse riding brings. Riding centres
will match horses with riding ability and guides will set a pace suitable to
your experience. Many use the famous Welsh Cobs that are a favourite for their
gentle nature and character. Centres should be recognized by a national body e.g W.T.R.A , WTB or AALA. |

| Imagine walking the course of a river and having to perform various tasks whilst balanced precariously on slippery rocks. Then having to climb a waterfall, explore small caves and practice river crossings before rounding the day off by jumping into a freezing mountain pool from height. It takes some thoughtfulness and a good sense of humour to complete the course but it is an exhilarating feeling when you finally make it. | |
